Craske's Traditional Amusements was started as a hobby in 1992 at Askrigg in the heart of Wensleydale by father and son Andrew and Jeremy Craske. It all started with the purchase of a very derelict 1920's shooting gallery. As this was restored and put into operation the collection started to grow. This now includes approximately ten different stalls and games -some restored and some awaiting their turn.
We are presently operating our 1920's shooting gallery, 1950's roll-a-penny stall (complete with original old pennies), High striker and our 1950's coconut shy (originally built by the Hind family from Northallerton).
Our aim is to present a good old traditional village type family fair of the type that would once have been common throughout the villages of the Yorkshire Dales. We hope that you enjoy it!

Paul Slattery - Caricaturist
Paul Slattery, the Guiness World Record Holder for the largest caricature in the UK will be attending this year. With his 'tools of the trade', he will be able to draw you a personalised caricature - a real momemto of your visit!
