The Otley and Dales Dry Stone Walling Association will put on a demonstration of this fascinating craft throughout the three days. They will build a dry stone bridge which will be installed near Carperby for the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Hedge Laying. Each day John Hulbert will demonstrate this country skill, as vital today as ever.
The North Yorkshire County Council Composting Campaign demonstrated the various ways that waste vegetable matter from your house or garden can be turned into a valuable fertiliser.
Ladies in Pigs. A group of ladies involved in the pig industry want to share with you their Passion for Pork, not to mention bacon and ham as well. They will offer recipes and delicious free samples of their cooking.
NFU Food and Farming Roadshow. Come and meet Annabelle, the model cow that loves to be milked - and while you’re with us get a children’s quiz book, a tasty recipe for the best local produce or simply challenge us with a question about how your favourite ingredient is produced.
